I am originally from Macon, GA. I attended Mount de Sales high school graduating in 1989. I then attended Middle Georgia College, a two-year school in Cochran, GA. Upon graduating from there in 1992, I attended Mercer University briefly majoring in electrical engineering. I felt computer science was a more interesting field for me so I changed majors and transferred to Georgia College (GCSU) in Milledgeville, GA. I finished there in 1995. I continued working at GCSU as an intern until the fall of 1996 when I moved to Atlanta to work for MindSpring Enterprises. I left MindSpring after a few years to work at a "dot.com" for a whopping two months. After that adventure (their cash ran out), I went to work for Georgia State University for a while. In 2001, I returned to MindSpring, which had since merged with another ISP, Earthlink. I continued to work for Earthlink till 9/2007. Also, in 2001, I decided to return to school and get a Masters degree so that my sister, who was working on a PhD at the time, would not make me look too uneducated (just kidding, it was actually something I had wanted to do for a while). I attended Kennesaw State University and finished in 2005. I also do consulting work for the Web Enabled Resources group at GCSU. I am currently working for Georgia State University again.
