You may need to customize the Makefiles for your platform.  I'm too lazy to
test on different ones, but it works on Solaris and Linux.  libmh is a lighter
version of libmlh (some network, math, and encryption junk removed - needed
extra libs on Solaris and maybe on Linux).  Note that there are some major API
incompatibilities between v2.x and 3.x - particularly the qstack and hashtable
functions may take an extra parameter.

Some platforms may have to build with largefile/64bit support in order to get
some file functions to work properly with large files.  No warrantees with
the code.  It is copyrighted by me and is released under the GNU Public
License (v2).
