My favorite Mouseketeer: Karen

Selection of Then and Now Pictures

Random Mouseketrivia

Though originally aired for 4 years, only the first 3 seasons featured all new programming

Larry is the oldest Mouseketeer; Bronson is the youngest

Annette and Linda have the same birthday; none have birthdays in February

Though he made appearances all 3 seasons, Bob only appeared in roll call in the 1st season

There are 2 Dons, 2 Marys, 2 Bonnies (though spellings may differ slightly); 3 have 'Lynn' in their names

All three adult Mouseketeers died in November

Only one mouseketeer (including the adults) has died per decade since the show

Mouseketeer reunions have been held in 1975, 1980, 1995, and 2005

Bobby has the most mousekekids (4)

New material (some featuring Jimmie Dodd) was filmed for the 1963-1964 syndication seasons

Sherry's birthday is one day before Walt Disney's

1st and 2nd season episodes were one hour long; 3rd season and syndicated shows where 30 minutes long

There were 360 original episodes made; the 4th season (and syndicated shows) mostly reused older material

Though not the youngest, only Karen and Cubby are usually called the "meeseketeers"

At least 1 original mouseketeer has appeared in the 2 successive MMC shows (from 1977 and 1989)

The two most popular mouseketeers, Annette and Karen, both require wheelchairs today

Jimmie, Annette, and Lonnie have the longest showbiz records

Had there been a 4th season, Moochie (from the serials) would have joined the Mouseketeer ranks.
