Day 4 - Istanbul, Turkey

After many emotional farewells at the Van airport, we flew back to a cooler Istanbul. After freshning up at the church (no hotel this time), we spent the day in prayer and packing our precious cargo for the needy. I especially spent much of the day in prayer. We also walked around the famous bazaar. We had ice cream at a local shop there which Chris graciously paid for (totaled $90 for the 6 of us!) despite the shock of the bill. Interesting discussion while eating and relaxing.

Here's a typical view from the streets in Istanbul. Other than packing, we spent much of the day carousing the local bazaare and reflecting.

Here Scott and Zach are making fun of the women in our group. The poor ladies will have to wear these the entire time we are in Iran
